Molly Bradley shortlisted for Manchester Community Hero award at Made in Manchester awards

Molly has been named a finalist in the Made in Manchester Awards in Manchester Community Hero category for her outstanding work supporting young people between the ages of 11-17 with their mental health.

During the pandemic Molly identified that there was a particular gap in supporting young people between the ages of 11-17 with their mental health. She created a free Holiday Club, which takes place during all school holidays, to support Stockport’s most vulnerable young people, not only with their mental health, the club also provides a place for them to grow in confidence, make new friends and experience trips and activities that they would not have had access to before.

The club also supports young people who are eligible for free school meals with holiday hunger by providing them with a healthy breakfast, snacks, and lunch.

The winners will be announced on the 2nd February at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel.

This is an amazing achievement and very much deserved. Good luck to Molly and everyone else shortlisted.
