With the one year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine taking place last month, Stockport residents have already shown overwhelming kindness and support to families arriving from Ukraine. Many of our Ukrainian households thought that their stay in Stockport would be temporary, but sadly they are unable to return to Ukraine and some of our local hosts are unable to continue to host, for a number of reasons.

We are organising 2 information sessions where you can find out more about the scheme. This will include information about the checks we carry out, the benefits of hosting, how the scheme has impacted on people’s lives and also an opportunity to ask any questions before making your final decision.

Date: 4^th May 2023

Venue: Cornerstone Building, Stockport Homes, 2 Edwards Street, SK1 3NQ

• Session one: 3.30-4.30 pm
• Session two: 5-6 pm.
