Heatons Harmonies is a free weekly singing and movement group for older adults living in Heaton Moor, Stockport, delivered by Lips Inked Arts CIC. The group provides a welcoming space where residents can come together, enjoy music, stay active, and build meaningful connections with others. Many participants experience challenges such as bereavement, mobility issues, long-term health conditions, or anxiety.

Thanks to support from the SKylight Grass Roots Community Fund of over £1,000, the project has been able to continue its weekly sessions while introducing new creative activities, including storytelling and visual arts in partnership with Stockport Libraries. The funding has also helped provide training for volunteers, supporting the long-term future of the group and ensuring it can continue making a positive difference to the lives and wellbeing of local residents.
